Information: This course covers Part A — the state-approved online classroom instruction required for a Texas License to Carry (LTC) a Handgun, under Texas Government Code Chapter 411, Subchapter H. Completion satisfies the classroom training requirement; Part B (range) and Part C (proficiency demonstration) must still be completed in person with a licensed LTC firearms instructor before your LTC-101 can be submitted to DPS.
